While the facility is the defining factor, food-grade FIBCs may also include features that protect the product during storage and transport. Even with these enhancements, the BRC-certified facility remains the deciding factor for a bag to be considered food-grade. Without it, even the most advanced design features cannot make a bag “food-grade.”
